Prompt Architect

Privacy Policy

How Ryan Dombrowski (the publisher) handles personal information in connection with the Prompt Architect plugin and this website. It does not replace the privacy policy of ChatGPT, Codex, or any other platform you use.

Effective November 5, 2026 · Publisher: Ryan Dombrowski

Summary

  • The plugin tools process the prompt text the assistant sends them, in memory, to produce a reply. The publisher’s code does not store that text or write it to the publisher’s own logs.
  • The publisher does not receive your conversations, account details, or files because you install or use the plugin.
  • The hosting provider for the tools and this website is Vercel, which generates standard request logs under its own policies.
  • The only personal information the publisher deliberately collects is what you send when you contact the publisher, including through the website’s contact form.

Three different things

This policy covers three separately operated things. Each is described in its own section below.

  • The plugin tools: a small server at ryandombrowski.net/api/mcp that ChatGPT or Codex calls when the skill decides a tool would help.
  • This website: ryandombrowski.net, including the AI theme generator on the home page.
  • Support communications: messages you send to the publisher through the website’s contact form or by email.

The hosting AI platform (ChatGPT, Codex, or another client) processes your conversations according to its own privacy policy, terms, and your account settings. Review those documents for its storage, retention, model-training, and deletion practices.

The plugin tools

Prompt Architect includes two read-only tools, audit_prompt and get_pattern. When the assistant calls a tool, the arguments it chose to send travel over HTTPS to a server the publisher operates on Vercel. For audit_prompt that is the prompt text being audited and an optional target label; for get_pattern it is a pattern name or nothing.

The server processes the request in memory and returns the result. The publisher’s server code does not store the arguments, does not write them to the publisher’s application logs, and does not send them to any other service. No analytics run on the tool endpoint. The tools hold no accounts and set no cookies.

Vercel, as the hosting provider, generates standard request logs for traffic to the site, which can include the requesting network address, time, path, status, and request size. Those logs are produced and retained under Vercel’s policies, not the publisher’s code. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

Requests to the tools come from the hosting AI platform’s servers, not directly from your device. The tools do not receive your identity, your conversation history, or anything the assistant did not include in the call.

Nothing in the tools reads other users’ prompts, fetches URLs, or executes or deploys code. They cannot be used to do so.

This website

ryandombrowski.net uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which collect page views and performance measurements. Vercel describes both as operating without cookies; the collected data is processed by Vercel under its privacy policy.

The home page includes an AI theme generator. When you type a phrase into it, the phrase is sent to a model provider through Vercel AI Gateway to propose a visual direction. The site’s own code does not store the phrase or write it to its logs; the model provider and Vercel process it under their own policies. To blunt request loops, the server keeps a salted, truncated hash of the requesting network address in memory on the server instance for a short window. It is not written to storage, and it is a derived value rather than the address itself.

A theme you apply is kept in your own browser’s local storage so it survives reloads. It never leaves your browser unless you share it with the share link, which carries only the theme’s settings.

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Information you send for support

If you contact the publisher, the information you provide may include your name, email address, message, and any examples or attachments you choose to send.

This information is used to respond to your request, investigate problems, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Please redact personal or confidential information from examples before sending them.

Messages sent through the website’s contact form are submitted to Formspree, a form-processing service, which delivers them to the publisher by email. Formspree processes those submissions under its own policies. Support email, including messages delivered by Formspree, is handled through the publisher’s email provider. Support information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or investigate abuse.

The publisher does not sell personal information and does not use it for targeted advertising.

Retention

Support correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to address the request and related operational, security, or legal needs, and may be retained longer when required by law or to resolve a dispute.

Tool requests are processed in memory and not retained by the publisher’s code. Hosting-provider request logs are retained under Vercel’s policies.

The hosting AI platform determines retention of information held in your platform account.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by the publisher through the contact form. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

For information held by the hosting AI platform, use that platform’s privacy controls or contact its provider.

You can stop the plugin tools from being called at any time by uninstalling the plugin from your platform.

Security

Traffic to the tools and the website is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Reasonable measures are used to protect support information. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

International processing

The publisher is in the United States. Tool requests, website traffic, and support messages may be processed in the United States or other countries by the publisher’s service providers, subject to applicable data protection requirements.

Children

The plugin and this website are not directed to children, and the publisher does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where legally required, additional notice or consent will be provided before materially changing how previously collected personal information is used.
